A Common sense Conservative
I have worked in business for the last three decades and I know well America’s greatness does not come from Washington, but from the American people. New Jersey’s Fifth District needs a serious Congressman who’ll put taxpayers first and fight back against the policies that are 100% at odds with America’s values and traditions.
Fred is a graduate of Boston University, with a degree in Business Administration.
After college, Fred Schneiderman started FBS Properties, an investment platform for energy, real estate, and private equity investments. He has been a successful businessman for over three decades.
A resident of Cresskill, Fred has lived in Bergen County since 2010.
Fred and his wife Andria are the proud parents of two daughters, ages 8 and 14.
His connection to the Garden State runs deep since his school days at Dwight-Englewood High School, where he was quarterback and captain of the Bulldogs football team.
Fred Schneiderman will fight to get our economy back on track by opposing the Biden Administrations reckless spending, big government overreach and closing of energy markets. These foolish Biden policies have given us skyrocketing inflation and shortages of goods.
Stop Illegal Immigration
Fred Schneiderman will support immigration laws and immigration reforms that keep illegal aliens from entering the country and address America’s national security needs. Fred believes that a national system needs to be in place to ensure that immigrants who enter this country illegally are not provided with the same benefits that legal citizens are. Fred Schneiderman believes in warmly welcoming those who enter the country through legal methods, while devoting extra resources to keep out those who try to enter via illegal methods, as well as keeping track of those who enter and when they leave. Fred Schneiderman believes that amnesty towards those who have broken immigration laws only encourages future immigrants to enter the country illegally rather than legally.
Support the Police
Fred Schneiderman is a strong supporter of our police and will fight to be sure they have the resources they need to keep us safe. The defund the police movement is wrong as lower police budgets mean fewer police officers keeping our streets and communities safe. Moreover, such defunding the police places a greater strain on existing officers and reduces the likelihood that they’ll quit or perform their jobs ineffectively because they’re burned out. We need more police not less.
The Second Amendment
Fred Schneiderman supports “the right of individuals to keep and bear arms,” a right confirmed by the Second Amendment. As a candidate for federal office, he supports the law-abiding citizens God-given right of self-defense. He will support efforts to protect such fundamental individual rights recognized in the Supreme Court's decisions in District of Columbia v. Heller and McDonald v. Chicago affirming that right.
Fred Schneiderman feels strongly that Congressional term limits will provide the Federal Legislature with new people who have fresh ideas and are strictly focused on serving the interests of their constituents during their short time in Congress. Fred’s view is widely shared by most citizens. Term limits are a non-partisan issue supported by a whopping 82% of the population.
Personal Freedom &
Fred Schneiderman is especially cognizant of the need for strong public health practices to protect the public. While Fred Schneiderman encourages all adults to get vaccinated, especially those citizens over the age of 65 or those with health conditions that are more at risk to the Covid virus, he is against one-size fits all federal mandates.
Fred Schneiderman shares the common view that the right to vote in a free and fair election is the most basic civil right, one on which many of the other rights of the American people depend. For this reason, he believes public officials must do everything in their authority to support and promote election integrity and instill confidence in all voters. For this same reason, he does not believe it is unreasonable to show proof of identification when undergoing the act of voting.
The First Amendment
Fred Schneiderman believes no constitutional right is more important than the First Amendment, the right to assemble peaceably and to express one’s own thoughts in political speech without fear of censorship, de-platforming, or reprisal. As your representative, Fred Schneiderman will fight to ensure the public square is open to all viewpoints; those controversial speakers are not cancelled from speaking at publicly funded educational institutions; those social networks cannot block political opinions under the guise of policing ‘misinformation’, and that opinions are freely expressed no matter how at odds such speech may be with political correctness. Fred Schneiderman believes strongly that America’s greatest attribute is our collective tolerance for criticism, dissent, and protest no matter how controversial. As your congressman, Fred Schneiderman will always stand in favor of sustaining controversial viewpoints as ‘free speech’ remains the great equalizer in the political arena.
A Balanced Federal Budget
As your representative, Fred Schneiderman will work to be an honest steward of the people’s purse. In Congress, Fred will actively support sound fiscal policy which should include a balanced federal budget. Fred Schneiderman believes middle class wage earners are already over-taxed when local, state, and federal taxes are considered together and as the representative of if New Jersey’s Fifth Congressional District he will work tirelessly to put taxpayers first when considering federal spending. In Fred Schneiderman’s view, Congress’ failure to produce a balanced federal budget is not due to a lack of revenue but is the result of outrageous spending.
Josh Gottheimer, self-proclaimed problem solver, is causing more problems by voting for trillions in irresponsible federal spending. The first step to solving America’s problems is retiring the policies and the politicians that have gotten us here.
Sane Energy Policy
Having worked in the energy industry for over two decades, Fred has an acute sense of the importance of a national energy that makes both environmental and economic sense. In direct contrast to President Biden’s recent actions, Fred Schneiderman would not approve the Russian gas pipeline while opposing the Keystone pipeline. As your representative, he would not support federal energy policies that prevent America from becoming energy independent. Fred believes that with the right incentives, American expertise & innovation will continue to lead the world in environmentally sustainable technologies. In Congress, Fred Schneiderman would be a strong proponent of federal regulatory policies promoting clean air and clean water policies. As the father of two young daughters, Fred will support legislation that makes the planet more inhabitable for his children and grandchildren.
Among the many reasons Fred will be an effective representative for us, three stand out…
First and foremost, Fred Schneiderman is a conservative businessman who will represent our interest and values by pushing back against a Democrat-controlled whose radical policies are ruining what makes this country of economic opportunity so good for so many.
As a seasoned investor who understands economic and fiscal policy, Fred will put taxpayers first. He will be a careful steward of the public purse, and fight hard against unchecked inflation causing federal spending.
As a father of two young daughters, Fred respects the rights of fellow parents to have the final say in their children’s education.
It’s a fact: Josh Gottheimer votes 96% of the time with Speaker Pelosi and her left-wing colleagues. Despite all the posturing and empty promises, our representative in Washington supports the radical, socialist agenda that is causing economic chaos.
Defunding the police, unsecure borders, unrestrained federal spending-- are all policies actively promoted by the Democrat-controlled Congress… It’s a fact: Congressman Gottenheimer is part of the problem.
